Why Can Polyurea Flooring Replace Traditional Epoxy Flooring

Polyurea is a magical substance, and Jiangmen Caichen Environmental Protection Materials Co., Ltd. is committed to the application and research and development of new materials, such as polyurea, while deeply cultivating sports materials. Let's take a look at the unique advantages of polyurea as a new material.

一、 The concept of polyurea

Spray polyurethane/urea elastomer is an elastic substance formed by the reaction of isocyanate (A) component and polyol (B) component. Its most basic characteristics are waterproof, anti-corrosion, wear-resistant, and excellent performance.

 The characteristics of polyurea

1. The vertical surface, top surface and any curved surface can be continuously sprayed without sagging, 5 seconds of gel and 1 minute of surface drying can reach the walking intensity.

2. Construction is less affected by environmental temperature and humidity. When spraying polyurethane/urea elastomers, the flooring can be applied at low temperatures of -20 and high environmental humidity, and can even solidify on water and ice surfaces.

3. Can withstand most corrosive media (long-term immersion in weak acids, bases, salts, and seawater).

4. Good low-temperature and high-temperature stability: Polyurethane/urea elastomer coating, can be used for a long time at -20 to 150 , and can withstand short-term thermal shock at 350 .

5. Good weather resistance and aging resistance: outdoor use can last for 30-50 years.

6. Excellent decorative properties: Various colors and dyes can be added to create products of different colors.

7. Excellent physical properties, such as high impact and wear resistance, high tensile strength, rolling resistance, high elongation, flexibility, tear resistance, wear resistance, aging resistance, impact strength, cathodic stripping resistance, insulation strength, etc., in addition to excellent low-temperature toughness. The hardness can vary from soft rubber (Shao A30) to hard elastomer (Shao D75). It has both the high strength of plastic and the high elasticity of rubber. Excellent adhesion, with strong adhesion to metal and non-metallic substrates such as steel, aluminum, reinforced cement, wood, glass fiber reinforced plastic, polyurethane foam, etc.

The use of polyurea

1. Indoor parking lot/garage

2. External wall renovation and protection

3. Sports stands, gymnasium floors

4. Roof waterproofing

5. School cafeteria and food workshop

6. Advanced sports venues such as tennis courts, basketball courts, badminton courts, and runway surface protection

7. Grain warehouses, food warehouses; Electronics, computer rooms, clean laboratory floors
